DEVELOPING THE BRAND AND SPREADING THE WORD THROUGH INFLUENCERS AND DIGITAL TOOLS

OVERVIEW

Power California wanted to organize a concert to engage young voters and voters of color in the 2020 election. We came up with the concept of "Our Future Fest"- a one-day music, art, and action festival to reach engage and mobilize non-traditional voters.

STRATEGY + RESULTS

  • Developed the brand of the festival including a logo, color palette, social media assets, website banner, and visuals for the festival. Hired and worked with a graphic designer to develop the brand.  

  • Developed and wrote the overarching message for the festival including copy for the website, talking points, media advisory, and press release. 

  • Built a responsive & mobile friendly website that served as the central hub to deliver the message, reserved tickets, showcased artists lineup, festival activities and drive people to take action.  

  • Partner with artists and influencers to spread the word and drive people to register to vote.  

  • Implemented a mass text strategy to recruit attendees, sent 3 mass email blast to supporters, and ran a targeted digital ads campaign on Meta & Instagram.

  • Worked with multiple departments to achieved a successful festival.
